I have two kits and a converted upper. I shoot the kits by hand jamming the nuts together without a washer. This works fine. It prefers using 22 LR Stingers for effective ejection off the magazine. I have the standard ejector removed for 22 LR.
My converted 22 upper (1913 DWM matching #1057) only shoots singles, I need to machine the bottom of the bolt down so it will take a 22 magazine. It has a 22 barrel permanently inserted and the bolt face machined flat with a 22 inset machined in. Then the firing pin & carrier was machined flat and the face has a pin mounted on the left side with a hole drilled in the bolt face. Then I put in a cut down spring for when I get the bolt machined. When I get this all done, I'll post photos... and maybe put my other two kits up for sale. |
