I just wanted to make you aware of the idea to contact member G.T. and discuss the option of a sport target luger and costs / schedules

perhaps he might have / could source a complete donor luger or perhaps you could source a complete lower asy and have him add/test function with his complete upper offering, and come close to your $1500 limit - esp since mismatched parts may be acceptable

otherwise the other members have all offered good ideas

most lugers are sold with non-firing inspection including those called "shooters"
