Default 32 SW Cartridges

I have shot the ammo in the red box some 50 yrs ago in my Dad's U.S.Revolver Co 32 cal revolver. I had a similar box of with the green label. I sold it on GB and will dig up the picture.

These were two popular cartridges for a vast number of small revolvers made from probably the 1880s to the 1940s. They were generally cheap and came under the general heading of "Saturday Night Specials".

I have my Dad's U.S.Revolver in .38 S&W. The most miserable firearm I ever shot - but its worn out, shot out, and has rust in the bbl. My nephew has my late father-in-law's .32 S&W version like yours, but we've never shot it.
