Hi Al,

What a very nice looking AE luger. Congratulations ! Thanks for taking the time to post your photos...

The folks at Simspon LTD just sold a BUG-proofed M1906 AE (with 4" 9mm barrel) for $ 2450.00 asking price.

http://www.simpsonltd.com/LugerRoom/...E-20/AE-20.htm

If I recall, the 4" 9mm barrel is more rare and this gun was in a bit stronger condition that yours...so my guess for your pistol would be in the $ 1800-2000 price range...just a guess, though.

p.s. Do your wooden magazines have a small "flaming bomb" proof stamped into the wood ? If yes, I have seen such AE magazines in like-condition as yours sell for $ 200 and a bit higher...or are yours stamped with "Germany"...?

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
