I was fairly surprised at some of these 'values', but in the spirit of historical curiosity, I went to the Bureau Of Labor Statistics Inflation Calculator and looked up those three pages of prices...Pic attached...
I'm pretty skeptical of some of his prices from WW II... ![]() (I used 1942 as WW II base price year)
