I was fairly surprised at some of these 'values', but in the spirit of historical curiosity, I went to the Bureau Of Labor Statistics Inflation Calculator and looked up those three pages of prices...Pic attached...

I'm pretty skeptical of some of his prices from WW II...

(I used 1942 as WW II base price year)
