As Bill mentions, you would log it out of your bound book as a disposition. Remember to get the birth date of the buyer as part of the information. Of course, you cannot transfer to a prohibited person. Avoid the appearance of being a straw purchaser (time should pass between acquisition and disposition).

You also have to comply with all local and state laws. I don't know what state you're in.

The 4473 is only for 01 dealer FFL disposition transfers.
