I can't vouch for this specific gun as "correct" but as far as the variation goes it is perfectly correct. Fat Barrels were made as American Eagles and standard Commercial. The gun shown is a Commercial. I think there were slightly more AE than Commercials made...something like 500 and 400 respectively off of the top of my head but I could be way off.
