According to McAfee, a malicious intruder replaced the I/p of SAW with theirs, which takes you thru there malware before you get to the intended site.
The answer to this question is 'how good is your antivirus?' and 'are you current with latest MS patches?' Your machine could have blocked any infection, hopefully. The host webpage provider may have scrubbed the offending malware from the SAW webpage by now. There are lots of variables here. I had to reload my o/s to recover, which reinforced the point that you should always have a restore point and I didn't. A restore point can be most helpful to get you back on the air. When I attempt to go directly to "www.smallarmsoftheworld.com", McAfee goes berserk. I would avoid that webpage like the plague. Try this webpage: https://www.smallarmsreview.com/ info on the snail magazine here: https://www.smallarmsreview.com/disp...darticles=1791 Last edited by GreyHammer; 03-05-2015 at 09:30 PM.
