This is an obscure show during WW2~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7hNNKL7AfE. Very secretive~What kind of automatic is that?

The photo shows Bob Hope firing a 1919A4 BMG from the hip, "John Wayne" style. The similar photo below shows a soldier in the same pose firing the earlier 1917 BMG
