Default Winchester Model 12

Just got this in yesterday. Bought it off a local deer hunting forum. Opinions appreciated. Appears to be a 1945 production riot gun. Only stock stamps are a small "W" and the "29". has Ordnance marks just forward of the receiver on the barrel. Estimate on value? thanks

Very nice.

My LGS got in two Winchester Model 1907/1910 .41 cal rifles this past Summer, from a gent who said they were from the local state prison, which was auctioning off its old stock of weapons. This may have been a prison gun as well.

makes sense - there is a large state prison in the county where I bought it from.

They also used them as a trench gun in ww2. being it has the US on the frame.
I have 5 model 12's some trap and some just field grade, one making a custom trap model.
I saw a prison model a friend bought it had more numbers on the stock.

Not yet - need to pin down better exactly what it is first and try to get a value. But as always its worth exactly what some one will pay for it.
