Here in Italy the average price for ordinary WALTHER P.38 in great shape range from the equivalent of USD 1300/1500 (MAUSER made are a bit cheaper) while for the newer P.38 ex Bundeswehr we can find prices from the equivalent of about USD 400/800.00 Somehow I never managed to really fall in love with them, while a pre WWII WALTHER PPK Zella Mehlis at the equivalent price of USD 1100.00 perhaps would be a bit more tempting.
