OK, hi to all! Here's what I've discovered so far..... As you might suspect, the rivets are the easy part!!!!
... I have discovered that all were done with a large variance in position and tolerance... There is a variance in the distance from the edge of the receiver, and also a variance in distance between the holes on a linear measure?? So, what does this mean?? Well, if you are re-riveting an original sear safety back on it's original receiver, or re-riveting it to tighten it up on it's original receiver.. then all that is needed is a new rivet, as of now, nooooo problem!! ...![]()
