True, in war time, you can get away with a lot more than during the rear echelon guys. RAMF's (rear area mother f riends's (?);>)


I know lots of friends that hated being in a unit that stayed in the rear and wanted field duty. Less BS, they could do their job. Of course this is a few years ago US army, but I am sure that as long as you did you duty, there was little worry about where you carried your pistol, or whether you were supposed to carry one. Just my guess,
