I'm guessing that it is an ex-WW1 gun, mismatched, rebarreled and with the date aggressively scrubbed off from over the chamber. Some Erfurt parts.
Not a Naval military gun, and probably not even a battle gun, given the "Germany" export mark, but a former military parts gun exported for a commercial market. Any numbers on the bottom of the barrel? Looks like an interesting shooter to me, but pretty well modified beyond collector interest. Also, can you make out the printing on the left side beneath the numbers but above the takedown lever? dju |
