I had noticed several artillery holster/stocks on eBay and was wondering if anyone had dealt with the sellers...They both list them as repros and have multiple items...They are -
landser_company 370545966242 http://www.ebay.com/itm/370545966242 international-military-antiques 300786446826 http://www.ebay.com/itm/300786446826 The Landser is the brown one; the IMA is the black one... I know I would have to work on them to get them to fit my...'artillery'... pistol, but I was interested in how they compare as to wood composition, thread gauge, leather thickness, metal fittings appearance, general quality stuff... The price for a repro holster/stock seems to be fairly consistent regardless of the seller...And they seem to be in 'production' from the number sold/in stock... Maybe someone has purchased a nice repro from another source that they wouldn't mind mentioning??? ![]()
