I agree whole heatedly.

As you can see from my avatar I have a SAA but it is a Hawes Western Marshall chambered in .38/357MAG made in 1967. The Hawes was not considered anything special and if you find one (they were made by Sauer & Son but they stopped making them in the early '80s in favor of making only semi-auto pistols from what I read) they are very inexpensive. Mine is in beautiful shape for almost 50 years old. I bought it in 1981 (it was my first cartridge handgun, my first gun was a replica 1851 Navy Colt I bought years earlier) and still love it today.

I take it to the range with my Rossi Level Action Model 92 with 24" octagonal barrel chambered also in .38/.357Mag in stainless steel so it kinda matches my nickel plated Hawes, the Rossi is amazingly accurate and my local range I like (Angeles shooting range) where they have a section with big metal targets out to 100 yard on the pistol side (you can shoot a rifle on the pistol side in the metal target area so long as the rifle is of pistol caliber).

Below are pics of my fiancee firing the lever action and below a comparison shot of the SAA's & rifle's barrels I wanted to show someone (the lever action weighs 7 pounds and at least 4.5 pounds of it is barrel!)
