Hi,

I've got a few hundred of these, as well, but haven't found the time to have fun handloading with them yet.

All of the original DWM bullets I've miked were just at .309. Why the Germans decided to shoot undersized bullets out of both their 7.65 (.311 actual groove diameter) and 9mm (.358 actual groove diameter) remains a total mystery to me.

One thing is for sure and for certain; a .355 FMJ bullet or a .356 cast bullet, properly loaded, will, indeed, shoot like the devil out of that .358 Luger barrel!!!
