I totally agree with Eric's welcome showing, as usual, a lot of his "ENTHUSIASM"; and to me this is the magic word that gives a meaning to our deep interest in guns in general and in "Lugers" in particular. You'll have to start from somewhere, and you'll probably make a lot of mistakes, like everybody else. Reading on Lugers, which unless several other guns is a wide and complicated topic, will help you a lot, and if you'll browse in this site you'll surely find all the necessary instructions also for your first steps in the Luger World.
