Nope.
Mauser has had a subsidiary that produced (and still produces) tools and measuring equipment. http://www.krause-mauser.com/portal/ |

No, I'm almost sure that those tools belonged to Mauser subsidiary productions.

I could be mistaken, but it looks as if the finger adjuster [the spiral] has a quick-disconnect lever...To run the jaws open without using the spiral...I don't think any Yankee Crescent-style wrench has this...has anyone else seen anything like this???

I think that lever may lock the spiral so the adjustment size of the wrench jaw doesn't move... also an excellent idea... and no, i have not ever seen a wrench like that before, but I have seen other Mauser tools.

At first glance, it looks like a Crescent wrench...but totally different...
![]() It's like someone looked at a Vernier and said "Wow...That would be a good design for an adjustable wrench!"... ![]() (If you think members of this forum are anal-retentive, you should meet an old German machinist...Back in 1969 I worked as a production machinist in an aerospace manufacturer...The machinist next to me was an old Americanized-German; ate a raw onion a day...One day I couldn't find a scrap to stir my coffee, so I pulled the 6" Starrett scale out of my pocket and stirred my coffee with that...You could hear him scream all over the plant...people came running...He was livid that I would so misuse my tools...After that, all us punk kids stirred our coffee with our scales...) ![]()
