It could go either way. the amount of overall rust on the outside is truly frightening, I agree. It might clean up to be a little better, but the damage looks bad in the pics. However, the shot of the underside of the extension shows rust on the rails, but not so much on the breech block, etc. inside. We saw another posting of a rusty Luger not too long ago, which yielded internals that were basically intact. So there is a glimmer of hope. The big question is the bore, so we must wait to see if/how much damage is in there after the pistol is delivered to Gungee's now hopelessly addicted hands!
