OK, I believe Ed when he says the seller is straight up.... certainly not his problem in someone wants that particular barrel that bad.. And, being that there is at least two of them bidding, maybe we're missing something here?? The number is strange to me, but rare and early examples usually are, and there is not much to reference to?? My only logical guess is that this barrel may be a 1902 9mm fat barrel?? Or, an early prototype??? I can't really tell by the picture perspective.. It's my one and only guess...
