Cool X-Ray pictures of guns

Glenn..Very cool! Does the Luger look like it's out of battery?

Looking at the picture of the luger it definitely has a round in the chamber. But the toggle is not fully shut. Its funny though, I don't see the bottom of the magazine. Maybe its wood and its just not showing. Its also missing the front sight blade. It even looks like the firing pin is ready to let loss.

I have sent these same pictures to the best radiographer in our office whom I'm going to get to help me take some different views of the lugers. I'm almost positive we can get a much more crisp image. I'm thinking maybe an ISO view of the gun looking from the front. I would think you would be able to see the rifling. Maybe one from the top maybe being able to see the markings. Any specialpart you want xrayed let me know.

I have a 1916 navy luger
a 1900 AE that I was going to shoot. I know the AE has a small crack in the rear toggle, so maybe we can see it in the image. And maybe some internal inclusions of the older vintage lugers.

It should be interesting regardless.

And I'll post them all here for others to share we I do.
