Hi Bill,

If you're going to try one, go for a KGP. The .22s definitely work better than the early ones, and the .380 or .32 auto seem better yet. I'm not saying you won't have any jams, etc., but they are fewer than with the early ones (which I've found handy to practice dealing with malfunctions. Now, at an IDPA match, a jam is not so much of a big deal due to this practice).

Sometimes a pistol will be encountered that actually does work without a hitch, so in my opinion that is a keeper no matter which series it is. It's good to be able to try before you buy, or at least have some assurance that it functions without a lot of help.
