[QUOTE=bmwr12;237810]I just got a group of 5 mags and I have a few questions. The first 3 are wood bottom and the last 2 are aluminum and bakelite bottoms. I am trying to find out what era they would be correct for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

According to Kenyon's "Luger's At Random" page 396, from the Luger's inception in around 1900 Luger bottoms were made of wood and in the 1920 era they were also made of cast aluminum, by the early 1930's the wood bottom was completely eliminated and by 1940 they were made of molded plastic. Hope this helps.

I know that. I was asking about the way the mag bottom serial number is stamped in most recent picture. It is not stamped the same way as the other wood bottom mags I have.
