BTW Bob, both Saab and Volvo had a program than many GI's took advantage of back in the 70's/80's. If an American GI bought either, they could get it delivered or....they would pay for your way to Sweden (train), all expenses paid for three days while there and drive it back to Germany. I never took advantage of the deal, I was a bit apprehensive of the Swedish ladies, for example, Brigitte Nielsen, so I stayed clear of trouble.
