New DWM 1911 Luger

This is somewhat old but I have done a bit more sleuthing on the gun (I do drop in and look at the posts from time to time)

I removed the extractor as that was the only numbered part I could not see. While I did it careful wrapped in a towel it came apart gently. Good not to take chances.

The numbered parts are all there so its complete original other than the magazine.

Good climate up here as its relatively dry most of the time so will hold good until I make the move to sell it. As much as I like the guns the quality collectors are too rich for my pocket book.

I picked up a Lugar book at the library (John Walter) and getting good reading out of it. Glad I ran into the Luger expert and the gun before I did as I would have been swamped with too many details. At worst it was a bit expensive for a shooter and its turned out far better than that.
