A "first Luger" is a wonderful thing. Whether you overpaid or not really doesn't matter at this point in time. It is a done deal. You will learn from it(breakdown, cleaning, lubing, springs), and perhaps be very frustrated if it is not 100% reliable, but you will still be very proud of it, and it will make you smile. In a very short timeframe, you will forget about the price that you paid, and just get on with the fun of owning one....my $.02
