I hate the fact that all this was hidden away and was never even spoken about. It wasnt until my grandfather passed away that we found this in his cedar chest. Everyone that could have gave any information on these two family members are no longer around to ask. Just looking through old pictures and documents we can find all the family members that served during WWI and WWII. I find that era of history pretty important to remember and pass on to other family members so they will always be remembered.
