All in all that is a fairly decent looking piece and a darned good price. As far as the mark on the barrel, I suspect that some bubba thought he could remove a spot of rust with an abrasive wheel in a Dremel tool, gave it a couple of passes and realized what a stupid mistake that was and stopped without further messing up the gun ("messing up" is a mild form of what I was really thinking). You got a very good buy...enjoy it.
