Default Grips

Just for grins are the grips on a piece I looked at last night.
No history, matched frame and cannon with a 4 digit # and a single U and crown stamp as the only markings.
A mismatch S 42 toggle and wood bottom mag.
Barrel is shot almost smoothe.

looks like cool grips until the swastika was crudely carved into them.

Hi:

It was probably added later by some GI.

Can anyone determine the crest on the grips, as it has a crown on top?
