Dave,
The Achilles' heal of the C-96 is the thin bit of metal on the back of the receiver that absorbs the force of the bolt stop. Your photos #4 and #7 suggest the receiver may be slightly bowed out at this point from the excessive force of hot ammo (or could just be the photos). Examine this area closely because if it fails the bolt could end up in your forehead. KFS |
