Default Collector shops?

I will literally not have time, but might over the next couple of months.

Are there any collector shops in the Plano, Texas area?

Not Houston, or Austin, those are like three eastern size states away

Plano is a "suburb" of Dallas. So depending upon where in Plano you are talking about, Jackson Armory is located in the SMU area (3416 Rosedale, Dallas if you want to Google it) and that's only a 15 minute drive down Central (US75). They had C-96s, Lugers, antique long guns, etc.

Of course, I've read some bad things about them on this and/or the Gunboards site. They were polite and answered all my questions the one time I visited, but I'm new to Lugers (but somewhat knowledgable in "guns") so they may have been blowing smoke at me and I didn't know it.

I am doing nothing for Texas Instruments, as a DB contractor, I am helping move a major data center move from the Tenn area to Plano (will know more once on site).

I work as a IT / Infrastructure / HIPAA / PCI Project Manager and do whatever needs to be done

Jackson Armory would be worth the effort to go and look at what they have. Lots of stuff in that little shop.

posti, might be fun to go look in their shop? Maybe take some of my books and trade them

Steve, would love to meet up with you, this first trip is meet and greet and find out what they would like done, then fly home Tuesday and do the rest remote. Then come back a couple more times...

Ed

I've had dealings with Jackson Armory and they treated me fine. They say they have many more lugers than what's on their site and on Gunbroker which have more than what's on their site because of space alloted. I just go on Gunbroker and type in 'Jackson Armory' if I want to see a better selection.

Ed,

I have been pleased with my Luger purchases made at Jackson Arms. Their service and selection has been excellent. Face to face they will deal.

If you get to Houston go to Collectors Firearms. The selection of collectible fireams and accessories is extraordinary. Their staff is knowledgable and helpful. They will also deal.

Ed, you might try DFW Arms, Grand Prairie Texas, 972-606-1047, I don't know if they have a store front. I have dealt with them on the net and have been satisfied. Bill
