Two quick tip-offs for a 1900: The trigger guard is the same width as the frame and dished toggles.
If the grips were removed you would see that the mainspring is a flat laminated spring rather than a coil spring. The dished toggles also come with a toggle lock in the right toggle knob. The breech block is flat on top and has a flat spring extractor.

A 1906 has a trigger guard that is narrower than the frame and the toggle knobs are flat. The Luger being discussed here has been modified to a 1906 type breechblock. Serial numbering on a 1906 didn't start until around 25,000, way later than the 4-digit serial number on this gun.
