I saw your nice write up on navy Lugers. I also mentioned in a response thread that there were 1915 and 1918 navies. I must be wrong. My statement was based on seeing Ralphs list of Lugers and also seeing the 1918 navy. I think that he had two of them in his list.


But on reviewing Jan Stills book, I see that there were 4231 1918's delivered. No mention of the 1915's. So it looks like I was wrong on the 1915's. But would the 1918's have a chamber date of 1918?


Kenyon in "Luger at Random" says that he has never seen examples of a 1914 or 1915 navy. No mention of the 1918.
