Trying to identify an Ithaca..
SxS double triggers 16 ga 28" barrel takedown retrievers machine engraved on both sides full length solid rib with engraving serial 2071xx checkering on forstock and grip bevertail forarm I think (wider and flatter then the ones that taper?) strightgrip style stock serial on right watertable left watertable has a 1 over 16 I think it is a 1911 flues grade 1 but blue book has stopped adding all the details that used to separate the different ones. Go to this site, the guy that wrote the book on Ithaca shotguns resides here. I collect model 37's, this is the best place to inquire on all flavors of Ithaca shotguns. 16's are very desirable..
