Here's a few - not particularly exotic, but I think in original, all matching condition.

The first is the classic 1906 DWM American Eagle, SN 33595. It has the DWM "barrel shield" internal co. proof on the barrel as well as the "flaming bomb" inspectors mark inside the frame. Inside one grip is something written in pencil. Intriguing, but now too faded to read. despite my best efforts, I just can't make it out. I assume it may have been the name of the original owner.

The second is a Swiss military pistol, one of 10,215 of the "New Model" 1906 guns in the second and final batch ordered by the Swiss. (Remember, this was before Germany adopted the Parabellum as the P.08 in 1908). It has the "Cross in Sunburst" over the chamber and the personal acceptance mark of Major Vogelsang who accepted the pistols for the Swiss at the factory in Berlin. The gun also has the flaming bomb inspectors mark as well as the "pinwheel" mark under the toggle, also used by DWM inspectors at that time.

The rust blue on both guns has faded and worn only slightly, indicating they were well cared for and fired very little. The fire blue used on the front sight blade and the grip screws has now faded, but the straw finish on the small parts is still mostly there.
