OP, it sounds like someone is trying to blow smoke up your butt, you did the right thing asking these guys.

IMHO these are the most knowledgeable bunch of guys when it comes to the Luger since George invented it not to mention they're all more then willing to help everyone and anyone when it comes to Lugers.
