Default DDR Lugers

Most folks don't know that there were about 125 brand new luger frames made at Suhl. These were used on guns made up of new and used parts.

The frames were usually assigned a serial number between N-1000 and N-1120.

They were all proofed with the DDR postwar proofs on the frames.

Finish and machining was quite rough. There was no provision for a stock or lanyard.

These are considered the last military Parabellums made and at least one was sold by Simpson ...asking price was over $6K.

There was an article in the SCHWEIZER WAFFENMAGAZIN in about 1984 which details all the known info.
