For all of you who were so kind to help me I found out why my Luger was jamming.
I was using Lellier and Bellot 9 mm PARA 4.4mm Boxer ammo. Iswitched to good old Winchester targer 9 mm ammo FMJ and it works fine. The tolerances must be so tight in this gun that just a small variance in the Czech Lellier ammo was enough to cause the shell to jam. I see why these handguns are so accurate. The specs are really tight. Not like a Saturday Night .45 special that has the barrel wobble around when you fire it and can't kit anything unless its a foot away! Thanks again all. DocDave |
