![]() I owned 4 of the big Healeys back in the 70's...3 100/6's (like the one in the pic) and 1 3000...Had one set up for SCCA Class E in 1975; made it to the drivers school at Watkins Glen, lost oil pressure during the familiarization lap...Didn't have enough money to rebuild the engine AND race it, so traded it for a Yamaha DT1-B flat track motorcycle...Raced that for two years before admitting I would never be a winner... ![]() The big Healeys were fun...Weak pressed sheet steel frames, though - rusted out pretty quick...The last one I owned, I fabricated a new frame for and put a Datsun 240Z engine & trans into...Plus TR6 steering & brakes... ![]()
