Marking: S.Op.V.210 (maybe 2L0)

Thanks for the location. I was wondering if it was close to where it saw police service. Apparently not but this is consistent with it beeing a Bereitshaftspolizei pistol (without Schiwy or Walther safeties). These pistols and their owners were transferred to the Landespolizie and then the military in 1934-35 and saw subsequent service in various occupied parts of Europe. It's a shame the pistol can't tell us more about where it's been but it already has a fascinating history.
