And yes, is possible, thet the gun was re-proofed. I know only this - the pistol was bringed members on Czech Army Corps (East front) on the end of WWII to city Cheb (Eger). In year 1945 was Cheb city in German empire. After year 1945 Cheb city in Czech republic. Pistol changed several owners. Last owner placed the gun on garret in his house. When the owner die, I have the pistol find in greasy cloth. The history from 1945 to today is unknown.
