Really have to keep an eye on "experts."
A couple years ago an "experienced" civil war ordnance tinkerer blew hisself to bits tinkering with a shell.
He'd done it lots of times.

I saw a barnfound Arty in Indiana years ago-deply pitted all over except the bore which was perfect.
