Interesting, the movie is just alot of fun to watch, actauly based somewhat on a real oss group fighting in burma. Check it out i think you will find it a great movie, i sure did.

Another great but seldom touted WW II movie that was on a few months ago is "Too Late The Hero" about British troops on a Japanese held island and a US Navy officer [IIRC] detailed to determine if the Japanese had air capability...Michael Caine and Cliff Robertson...

The ending of this movie is one of the most breathtaking ends of a WWII movie.

Padre, congratulations for you Walther PP. You are gathering a nice collection of WWII German guns and has a nice eye to get collectable items.
