Sorry for the confusion. It was the earlier 30 cal. Alphabet commercials I was thinking about, that were rebarreled for the police. Your 29DWM only had the sear safety added at an arsenal.

I agree with Don, Lugers in the "s", "t" or "u" suffix with the characteristics described above (termed 29DWM) most probably were manufactured with a 9mm barrel.

well thanks to each of you for your help, What it is a great shooter and i think turned out to be highly collectable.
