Default Gerald Tomeck Magazine repair

I just recieved a magazine back I sent to GT in Phoenix and I have to say he is pure Genius.
I had a beautiful nickel WW1 wood bottom magazine that was needing a missing follower button and the pin re set.

GT sent it back looking like new. A truely magnificent restoration of what to me was pretty much a useless magazine.

Thanks GT!

Gerald,
Back in Paris for a few weeks I find in my mailbox the two Mec-gar mags you arranged for me with Mauser nickel bottoms. They are really wonderful ! Very good job my friend ! Also, thanks for the firing pin spring !!

GT just did a black bottom mag for me too. Beautiful job and the quickest turnaround you could imagine.

Default mag tune ups!

Hi Jerry, Rich, Christian, David and all! Thanks for the kind words... Sometimes i can turn items around pretty fast, other times, I have to wait until my brain comes up with the right fix for the project... ... I'm presently at a stand still as I'm waiting for parts, and, the biggest issue for me right now, is that it RAINED down here last week!!! Everything grew about .005" and nothing fits my jigs... ....So, the wood work has stopped until the humidity comes back to normal... It's like watching paint dry... I'm happy you guys are enjoying the magazines either tuned up or repaired.. I really try hard to give forum members some milage for their money.. It's all about good fun anyway... Best to all, and a great new year in 2012! ...til...lat'r...GT

Hey G.T...

Would it be OK if I sent you one of my early HK proofed mags? The silly follower button keeps on falling out - and I have not had the guts to try to fix it myself (please - no comment from the peanut gallery )...

Best to you - and thanks for all you do!
