Hi, There is a small round plunger at the forward end of the sear bar.

Those sometimes get stuck in due to dirt and congealed lubricant.

Does that round plunger freely move in and out of the sear bar? It is the disconnector. If it's permanently stuck in, the trigger mechanism would be permanently disconnected...

It's also possible that the trigger plate fit is keeping the disconnector compressed after the pistol cycles. This would happen if the pin doesn't clear the trigger bar to properly reset.

The Trigger Bar (lever) is brittle because it's been hardened. Don't try to bend it. It will likely break before it bends.
