Default 1917/1920 DMW Luger Markings?

I recently purchased a DMW Luger date stamped 1917 and 1920.
The inner grip strap has a Unit marking 2./J.R.20.43.
I would like to know which Unit this represents.
Any infomation you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Tom

Hi Tom,

Your Luger is marked to the Reichswehr 2nd Company/ Infantry Regiment 20 weapon 43.

Formed in 1921. It was billeted at Regensburg as part of the 7th Infantry Div.
In 1941 it became the 9th small motor vehicle column of infantry division 10.
On 3 February 1944 it was reorganized back into the 20th Infantry Regiment.

Ron
