I imported a Luger from Germany and it was a small nightmare!! My importer did not help the situation though. I finally had to do all the work as far as the ATF paperwork goes. I just used him for his license! My exporter in Germany was great though! The only reason it was a nightmare was because the Luger was military surplus. I also imported three other firearms with no issue what-so-ever. It also helped that I shipped it in government house hold goods...
