Just wanted to show off my new baby. Finally found one in good condition and at the right price, so I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Man, that thing looks like it just came out of the factory--beautiful.

I just field stripped it... looks like there's still factory grease on the barrel.
I'm not even gonna try to clean this one.

It's an 8mm Roth-Steyr, not sure if that caliber was ever used in any other pistols than these. The internal magazine holds 10 rounds and you use a stripper clip to load it through the ejection port.

Nope... Have seen a few for sale in the $100-150 range, and I think I'll pass for now.

VERY COOL!
I have thought of buying one because they are so unusual and one of the first 'modern' handguns

Otto,
It's Austrian made and stamped "Wn 10", which I believe means that it was acceptance stamped in Wien (Vienna) 1910. The guy told me that he bought this one plus a Budapest and a Steyr-Hahn from an estate. The other guns were supposedly in the same condition, but they were already sold so I never got to see them. Seems like there are still some treasures out there.

Outstanding M7!!!!
Mine is an old battlehorse, but I like it anyway as they are so unusual! Is there any unit mark on the right grip disc? Douglas |

Olle,
Then there is written on top of the barrel "Waffenfabrik Steyr" I think. Wn D/E 10 is the accepstance stamp in 1910 like you said. Does the gun have any unit markings ? regards Otto |

Yep, it's marked "Waffenfabrik Steyr" on top of the barrel. No unit mark on the disc though. I have seen several guns with blank discs, so I'm not sure if that means that it's unissued. However, I can safely say that it hasn't been used much.
